I had Arnold & Sons out to clean a toilet drain. Without trying to clean it out, they said I needed to replace the toilet, at a cost of $1,800. They charged me $119 for this analysis. I called a different company and the drain pipe just needed descaling. Works fine now. They also quoted $1200 to replace a kitchen sink faucet and $2400 to install a water softener, where there’d already been one.
I got a $6300 quote for a leaking toilet --a new toilet, sewer line repair / replace and new toilet floor base and old sewer trap removal... was told a 2 person 2 day job. seemed really high but I have no idea how to do it so I almost did it.. wanted $102 a month for 72 months as a payment.. called asking why so high and was told that is just what costs with materials are. they charged $109 just to look at it already so I thought again maybe I'll do it.. called a nother place and they did it all in 1 day with 1 guy plus fi... read more
Quoted me 2,400 for a water heater replacement (insane) and then claimed they couldn’t find record of my appointment when I complained to them. Here is my review and their response as well as proof of the service call and quote. I’d look elsewhere!
Doesn't stand behind their work. Put a water heater in for me and now my kitchen sink has no hot water. They will not fix it. I noticed 2 days after they put the water heater in that the top had water on it. They want to charge me to come look at it! Absolutely ridiculous!
1.25 hours listening to Jake complain about his girlfriend, coworkers drinking, and inability to get sleep for multiple reasons (which i will save everyone time by not listing here) only topped off by him handing us an estimate and giving us 5 min to decide. horrific price gouging with no up front prices. then jake calls 2 guys to replace main valve, which they put on crooked in 15 min. they left doing shoddy work and didn't replace the main cap at the street. we have thorough photos and security video, and have proof that ... read more

Scamming old people is what they are known for.
Tried to scam my 82 year old mother out of 4600.00 Told her everything needed redone in her crawl space I had a friend who is a licensed plumber go check and it was a simple drain that had come apart. He fixed it in 10 minutes
Do yourself a favor and call someone else!!!!
Had a drain issue in basement, was backing up a bit. They came by and Quoted us almost $7000 for “possible roots issue.” Got a second opinion and all they had to do was clean up a soft clog. Everything is fine now. Was a waste of our money calling here. Seemed like they tried to scam us. 0/10 Recommend
